1. Promises
OLD LAW
Do Not Make False Vows
You shall not make false vows, but you shall fulfill your vows to the Lord as a religious duty. - Matthew 5:33
NEW LAW
Jesus - But I say to you, do not make an oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God; or by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet. Nor shall you make an oath by your head, for you are not able to make a single hair white or black. But let your statement be, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything more than that comes from the evil one. - Matthew 5:34-37

Treating Others
Treat everyone same are the writings of the Prophets. - Matthew 7:12
NEW LAW
In everything treat others the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the essence of the Law and the writings of the Prophets. - Matthew 7:12
3. Abducted

Abducted
If anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, let him have your coat also for the Lord repays the offender. - Matthew 5:40
NEW LAW
Jesus - Whoever forces you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks of you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you. - Matthew 5:41-42
4. Adultry
OLD LAW
No Adultery
You shall not commit adultery. - Matthew 5:27
NEW LAW
Jesus - Everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. - Matthew 5:28
If your right eye makes you stumble and leads you to sin, tear it out and throw it away; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. - Matthew 5:29
If your right hand makes you stumble and leads you to sin, cut it off and throw it away; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body than for your whole body to go into hell. - Matthew 5:30
5. Divorce
OLD LAW
Certificate of Divorce
Whoever divorces his wife is to give her a certificate of divorce. - Matthew 5:31
NEW LAW
Jesus - But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, except on grounds of sexual immorality, causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who has been divorced commits adultery. - Matthew 5:32
